Kerching! One million down...

Posted by David Meyer

The million-unbundled-lines mark has just been passed, according to Peter Black, the telecoms adjudicator. Seeing as the target for that to happen was the end of this year, not bad going, Openreach!

Let's just hope the quality of said unbundling ceases to be a problem - something Black seems hopeful about thanks to the service improvement plan he demanded last month. He says in his latest update that "this plan will address a number of key deficiencies and set Openreach on an improvement curve that, if sustained, will improve operating quality substantially". Which sounds nice.
