Blue Screen of Death is a 'joke', says anti-virus software
Further to yesterday's post highlighting Microsoft's efforts to offer us a free Blue Screen of Death for download , one reader, an IT manager called 'the_buns' has posted a reply.
The_buns says it's not possible to download the software and that the download's being stopped by their anti-virus as a 'joke'.
We've verified that fact here at ZD Towers - our anti-virus does exactly the same.
Apart from the fact that it is rather bizarre that Microsoft is offering this download, it would be interesting to find any other readers' experiences.
Can you download it? Is your system administrator fooled? What the heck is Microsoft doing offering this software on Sysinternals?
