Playstation 3 gets its kit off
It's only been out for a couple of days, but already the eager screwdrivers of the Japanese tech media have penetrated the Playstation 3. Perhaps the most impressive aspects are the huge fan and thundering heatsink -- which has helped the PS3 earn kudos for being far quieter than the XBox 360.
You do have to be quite the geek to enjoy the YouTube clip of the disassembly - although the similarity between the production values of the clip and those of certain other types of exotic content is striking. Check out the hand-held camera shake, the quality of the audio and the excited yelp at 2:30...
