Food for VoIP thought
There can be few hotter topics in IT than securing converged voice and data networks.
While some IT professionals have really got their head round the extensive security problems that can be caused by running voice over a data network, some have found it, understandably, rather less straightforward. It's just not as simple as protecting a data-only network, as this blog shows.
I wouldn't wish to recommend just any blog, but this author has really thought it through. It's maybe a little naive in places, but there are some really good tips mixed in.
For anyone thinking of deploying VoIP (or even for IT professionals who might have already done so, but have concerns over possible vulnerabilities), it might be worth a quick read.
