Linux users find Dell heaven

Posted by RichardThurston

There seems to be a small flurry of Linux users getting their own back on Microsoft. Their own money, that is.

On Friday, system administrator Serge Wroclawski boasted of his exploits in extracting just over $50 from Dell for his unused Windows license.

Just a couple of months ago, Sheffield man Dave Mitchell told of the same, claiming £47, again from Dell.

I'm not sure whether Dell sells more PCs to open source users than anyone else, or is it just more responsive to refunds in these situations?

If Dell keeps this up then they *will* sell more PCs to open source users.
