Dialogue Box - grand launch...
Some of the glamour has gone from the media, y'know. Time was when a new TV show would be greeted by parties, champagne, perhaps a small note from Buckingham Palace...
Now, all that happens is an IM from our video bods saying "Yeah, it's there." So it is.
Dialogue Box is our new weekly TV/video/podcast/download thingy, starring yours truly and the even more ancient Charles McLellan, reviews maestro since the days when Wedge Weekly looked at cuneiform performance. You can watch the first episode at that link above - and since nobody else is going to do any publicity, here's an insider sneak peek from the studio floor...
Note the careful editorial balance, symbolised by a Wintel laptop, an Apple MacBook and Tux peering from the floor. Unfortunately, Apple took its MacBook back and can't tell us when we can have another (which is a shame, as we've got a few things we'd like to show you about Macs). So the next show will be Windows and Linux only. We did try...
