Let's take a break from the thing,. How far overbaked this particular cake has become is best illustrated by a little dose of reality from this lolcat-infested blog post. In it, two glittery nuggets of fact twinkle in the dust. First, for Apple to sell enough of the beasts to justify the increase in its stock price since the initial announcement, it would have to shift somewhere north of half a billion - maintaining the weekend's sale rates, and prices, for three years solid.
