Boom time for British tech?

Posted by Andrew Donoghue

The BBC is running an interesting story from a venture capitalist who claims that the UK has a really healthy environment when it comes to investing in technology. Anne Glover, who the Beeb describes as a "leading venture capitalist" claims that funding in the UK has never been easier to come by bar perhaps during the short-lived dot com boom.

According to the BBC piece: "last year £1bn of venture capital money was invested in young firms in the UK - that's more than a third of all the money invested across Europe".
