Broadband Speed Test
I chanced upon Znet's speed test today and it confirmed that the Broadband connection here in work is super fast with 7816 kbits downloaded in 0.741 sec so i cannot wait to try this out at home and see if Tesco are ripping me off!

Well, at one point my Tesco Broadband was slower than dial up but later on it crept up to just under a quarter of the speed that I am paying for ... fantastic!
You should try only using your connection at 3am. This should reduce the load from the hundreds of others, doing who know what, on the same connection. Its all about the contention ratio..
I shall try that my nocturnal friend! Many thanks for the tip, I am off home now for a quick nap before I re-emerge at 3am to surf at unrivalled speeds!
