Skype what a total waste of time and money.

This is a total and utter disgrace for a company who is earning millions of pounds a year and does not seem to care one cent about it's customers.

Skype Customer claims to of had money stolen from his Skype account

Posted by a1gjv

A Skype user has claimed to of had money stolen from his account by other Skype useres and Skype seem to be doing very little about it. I will leave you to read his complaint in full which can be found here and let you form your own opinion of the Skype Payment System and how they treat their PAYING customers.

This is not just a one off case, there is never a day goes by without a Skype customer complaining about the Skype Payment System you only have to look at the this section of the forum to see what I am talking about. It is not only the Payment side of Skype but the whole Customer Service side in general.

Skype users are totally frustrated at first not being able to speak to a real person about their problem. They are advised my the helpers/volunteers on the forum to send in a support request which if you are lucky might get replied to within 4 working days.

I implore anybody who is thinking of using Skype to look and read some of the many thousands of complaints about all aspects of Skype by starting at the forum front page.

This is so accurate,
My account was hacked into, and i lost $175 or £88.00,
I have been pushed from pillar to post
On the skype chat programme someone sent a Trojan which my anti virus software picked up, but this Trojan will not stop installing, it also comes up with your user name it is cam software upgrade, so you think it is a legitimate upgrade, but once you type in the password it shuts down your pc which gives time for the person to change the email address and then change the password, as i phone people via skype all around the world i have an automatic credit top up via paypal, this person upped the credit limit and withdrew via MY PAYPAL account the amount above.
PAYPAL say it is a legitimate withdrawal which is rubbish as the transaction was made after my account was hacked, Skype confirm this, but there is no customer services, to ring, only forum moderators, who are very helpful, but i prefer to speak someone...

I have been pushed from skype to paypal to my bank and then back to paypal who then re blame skype...
I have 2 disabled children and Skype is my lifeline in meeting people from all around the world who are in the same stressful situation as myself... if you use skype DO NOT USE A AUTOMATIC TOP UP VIA PAYPAL, as the individual who scamming skype users gains access and withdraws skype credits... i have been fighting for nearly 2 weeks now and not received anything.
