Beatles apparently agree iTunes deal
Reports suggest that the extraordinarily slow-burning deal between The Beatles and iTunes - not unrelated to the argument over which Apple should get to use the name, settled last year - will soon be official.
The amount of money due to change hands is uncertain. Depending on who you believe, it's either $400m (£200m) or £300m. It seems the money will get split up between Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, the families of George Harrison and John Lennon, cash-strapped Michael Jackson, and EMI and Sony.
It's good news for them, and for Beatles fans who want to listen to their music on an MP3 player but don't want to go the, umm, unofficial route. If you catch my drift.

Good for marketing aswell!
The Beatles are a good image fit for Apple Inc, expect to see a Beatles themed iPod some time soon, like the U2 limited edition some years back.
