BT's cheeky letter to Tiscali customers

Posted by David Meyer

According to ISPReview, Tiscali is considering legal action over a letter BT sent to some of its customers. Click on the link and you'll see why.

Tiscali's future is, of course, the focus of much speculation - I've lost track of how many times I've seen stories about this or that potential buyer. Genuine as some of those stories may be, it is certainly not hard to see why Tiscali may feel aggrieved at BT:

We can understand why you're wondering what might happen to your Tiscali broadband service. And because no one really knows the answer just yet, it could be a good time to look at an alternative broadband service.

I have just given up Tiscali after waiting more than six months for a broadband connection. I think that there is something going on between Tiscali and BT that prevented me having broadband connection as BT engineers is suppose to setup broadband connections for Tiscali via BT Wholesale. BT is probably trying to destroy Tiscali and should be dealt with by OFCOM as being anti-competitive.

hawkish of BT, the headline reads "Tiscali chief plots sell-off" they'll need to cite a good source for that, otherwise Tiscali wins on defamation!
