Is texting dead on the iphone?
This is just a end of the week Friday thought and it does depend on a who your friends are, but given the high text charges isn't texting on the on a iphone dead just email or AIM your friends?

No, most of us have packages that give us several hundred free texts.
true but if you use a lot of texts to one or two numbers then messaging via AIM on the phone is very cost effective.. Here in Portugal you only get 100 with your average monthly plan.
