Exam site pulls MS certification questions

Posted by David Meyer

A site that proudly and explicitly sells "real exam questions" for various IT certification exams has apparently been nailed by Microsoft for selling, er, real exam questions.

Pass4Sure still offers questions for those trying to get certification from Cisco, IBM, Oracle, Nortel etc, but gone is the Microsoft stuff. In the absence of actual comment on the whole affair, I fired up the customer support chat with a Pass4Sure rep called Cindy. Here's the transcript of a conversation kicked off by me (played in this scene by "You") with a question asking for Microsoft exam questions:

Cindy hello
You Hi
Cindy we do not provide that product now
You How come?
Cindy we do not provide that now, maybe after sometime, we will provide it,but we do not sure the fixed date
You what was wrong with them?
Cindy sorry, all the product are under testing
You testing?
Cindy and you can notice our website, if it is ok, we will show them
You what about my friend who recommended the exams to me? if they need more testing, were they a bad idea for him to buy from you?
Cindy no, that is not the product. we will make a change of the test engine, but the QAs are OK
Cindy so do not worry
You ok
You i heard there was some legal trouble with microsoft - does this mean that my friend's questions were real exam questions, and does that mean he could get in trouble for using them?
Cindy no idea, i just know many people purchase our product
You can i use my friend's questions, or will i get in trouble?
Cindy we do not allowed our product to be shared
You ok - thanks
Cindy welcome
