Zero Config

Posted by Jake Rayson

Shock horror, I had to actually print out a paper letter today. This is the first time in probably 6 months. I have an HP Deskjet 5150, and plugging it into my feisty ThinkPad X60s, which runs Ubuntu 8.04, I foresaw loads of configuration, if not actual Grief. Instead, a little dialog pops up in the notification saying "Printer is ready to print". Er, that’s it. End of story ;)
