The download opened about fifteen minutes ago, and I'm now watching the Chrome press conference in Chrome - and I'm also writing this post in another Chrome tab I dragged onto the desktop.

Works well so far.

Oh yes - and we have the origin of the name. "Chrome" is web designer speak for the shiny junk you get all round your browser - toolbars and so forth. The chrome browser gets rid of it all.

Just obtained it myself.

First funny thing I found was that google isn't in the dictionary.

I just found myself looking for the Adblock settings,like I would in Firefox. D'Oh! No Adblock or similar - that would not be in Google's interests.

Or wait - Google's ads thus far are in text, and don't get stripped out by Adblock.
