Skype what a total waste of time and money.

This is a total and utter disgrace for a company who is earning millions of pounds a year and does not seem to care one cent about it's customers.

Download Skype & have your chat messages delayed for weeks.

It would seem that this problem has been on going since 12th January 2008 and still there is no solution. You can read a full account of the problem here. I as well as the complainants are staggered that there has been very little constructive comment for the Skype developers apart from the now standard comment "WE ARE WORKING ON IT"

I have to agree with the comment made by Mark Hamilton "And no, no matter what info you give to Skype even though they keep asking for it, they will not fix it. You think a billion dollar company cannot slap on a few VMs or a few PCs together and test this environment? Of course they can. There is some kind of a monetary benefit to letting this bug be, otherwise they'd have fixed it by now."

Adding further to Marks comment I don't think Skype want to fix it because fixing it does not bring them in any money as chat messages are FREE. I think this lack of action proves even more conclusively that Skype DO NOT CARE one cent about their customers, all they are interested in is making money in one form or another.
