High Tech for Hard Times - Part Two The SOHO System Of My Choice
Mac mini, 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (2GB RAM)
Dell TrueColor E248WFP 24-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor
iPod touch 8GB
Keyboard and Mouse (you may have these at home so saving you £50 or so)
The Mini is great for a small home office, it has enough crunching power to run most stuff you'll need. The Dell screens are huge great value and allow you to multi task big time. I always think a good big screen is so key to running your business as you going to spend a lot of time at this station and to protect your eyes and interest you need to be immersed in it all
iPod touch is a fine and now refined on the road device for notes and emails, if you are in or near a city and can discipline yourself to wifi stations you can safe so much in comparison to an iphone and still be in contact when you want. Tommorow I will look at software to on the system.
What do you think ?
