Can a monkey save my iPhone?
)
Becoming increasingly frustrated with my iPhone's battery life I am turning to the only thing a man in a fix can count on - a monkey - and not just any monkey - this one is a Power Monkey.
Yep, this clever little device - essentially a portable energy store - should give me enough extra juice to keep my blessed iPhone alive after it gives up the ghost after 6 hours of moderate use.
I love the iPhone by why give it so much rich functionality if the bloody thing doesn't have the juice to pull it off for at least a working day.
I depend on mine for work as a lot of people do and the fact that it frequently dies on me is just not acceptable. I should really trade it in for something more practical with a better battery life like a BlackBerry but I just can't bear the idea of any other phone now - so it's up to the monkey to see me through.

Hi andrew
Where did you get the device in the Uk ?
Utz
Hey
It's available on Amazon UK. Think the one I got cost 40 pounds but comes with a solar charger too, lots of connectors and a travel case. I have not actually tested it out on the road but it seems to be compatible with the iPhone so don't see any probs. I guess the only concern is if the Power Monkey degrades too - whether I will have to buy another one to power that one and then where does it end ;-)
