Data roaming hell - what can we do ?
Can anyone offer guidance here? Is there any hope that this will change?

Oh dear, not to up on the roaming pricing arangements, but wouldn't it be handy to have a net book or some other device that can make use of free wi fi hotspots for checking mail etc? Hell...it would even be cheaper to pop into a local internet cafe.
The only thing one can really do when unfair pricing is involved is to boycott the service.
Let's face it a few more bills like that and you could get yourself a net book of somekind. Did I hear about a mac version of a net book somewhere or am I imagining things?
Yeah you can do that but wifi is few and far between outside big urban areas hardly ever free, and boycotting yeah but surely like all this roaming sms and calls business should be brought to useable tariff for better or worse we are in the EU. Mac netbook hmm I doubt it just yet
