Google image search gets specific

Posted by David Meyer

A Friday blog post from Google's image search team revealed an enhancement to that particular functionality - if you're searching for an image through Google, you can now specifically request to see photography, faces, news pictures, clip art or line drawings (the last two in that list being the new option additions).

I guess you could call this increasingly semantic search. It certainly should act as a reminder to make sure your images are tagged as extensively as possible.
