Given the meagre new offering of Macworld this year- two software updates and a new 17 inch MBP unibody enclosure - I really think good old Phil did rather well. And you know what for all he marketing showmanship I am not sure Jobs was that missed. In fact in my view the humble and erudite performance of good old Uncle Phil was a breath of fresh air.
As for the new, slim pickings really - but it you are looking for one machine to run your whole life/business and get you maybe through a day without battery charge then the new MBP is quite a top end monster. I will have to see the screen and also see the difference of the glossy and anit-glare version (love to see the later that does not have the black bezel I suppose it must be like a MacBook air on drugs. If only it were 3kg oh well perhaps at Macworld 2012 but wait a minute Apple won't be there....
