T-Mobile gives businesses unlimited texts

Posted by David Meyer

T-Mobile has refreshed its business packages, adding unlimited text messaging, along with unlimited calls to UK landlines, to its Business 1-Plan. It's claiming to be the first UK operator to offer businesses unlimited texting as a "standard service", although that certainly sounds surprising to me.

There's also a new option in the tariff called European Shared Call Allowances - basically, a shared bundle for multiple employees who are roaming around Europe.

Also new to the tariff is "unlimited instant email on BlackBerry in the UK", subject to a fair use policy, of course.

"We are very aware of the tough conditions that many UK businesses are currently operating under and we hope these changes will provide them with greater peace of mind and better control over their expenditure," said T-Mob head of business marketing Oliver Chivers in a statement.
