Excellent high definition streaming of Obama inauguration
If you're in the UK and have a connection capable of around 4Mbps, have a go at Sky News' HD streaming converage. Windows only, alas, and you have to download a special client (boo), but it's the best I've seen so far. Hardware is a very standard HP desktop running a dual core something at around 2GHz, no special graphics, and taking around 50 percent of both cores.
