Huawei almost ready with Android phone

Posted by David Meyer

Oh, I am looking forward to Mobile World Congress this year. Not only will I be fondling the new Palm in my, erm, palm, but there will probably be a good few Android devices knocking about. Given that last year's MWC only gave me a glimpse of an Android prototype rig, we've come a long way.

Nothing too solid from Motorola yet, but we'll certainly be seeing an Android device of some variety from Huawei, everyone's favourite never-heard-of-it giant behind the curtain. Huawei will also be showing off "The world's first commercial HSPA+ Stick" and, yes, "The world's smallest Wireless Modem".

And, for the win, we'll get to see Stevie B himself touting something Windows Mobile-related (probably version 6.5). Aside from the lousy pound-vs-euro rate, I think I'm really going to enjoy this...
