Skype for blackberry must arrive soon!
Skype recently launched on the iPhone.
I’d really welcome a Skype client on other Smart Phones even if it just works on wi-fi networks for now... I’m currently a blackberry user so when will Skype announce a Blackberry client? Surely if Skype has delivered an application for iPhone why not Blackberry and other smartphones?
I had always assumed that the slow uptake from Skype (and other VOIP providers) to build applications for smart phones was because of pressure from the mobile networks to protect their valuable voice revenue streams. However, now that Skype is launching on iPhone there is some hope that this protectionism may end soon!
