Project Kangaroo hops into Arqiva's arms
Broadcast infrastructure company Arqiva announced on Tuesday that it has completed its purchase of technology developed by Project Kangaroo.
Project Kangaroo, an on-demand television platform, is the product of a joint effort between BBC Worldwide, Channel 4 and ITV. In February, the Competition Commission called a halt to the project, which was set up two years ago, saying it gave the broadcasters too much control over TV content and distribution.
