BA allows mobile calls on NY flights

From silicon.comFrom Tuesday, British Airways will let business class passengers on its London-to-New York route use their mobile phones for emailing, texting and using the web.

The in-flight connectivity service, provided by OnAir, is being introduced on two Airbus A318 flights between City Airport and JFK. Travellers will be charged international roaming rates, according to the airline. Silicon.com has more on British Airways' mobile scheme here.
