CIOs say open source no good for cost cutting

Posted by ZDNet UK News Network

From silicon.comAccording to silicon.com's latest CIO jury, businesses have not turned to open source as a means of making their IT budgets go further. Several CIOs also stipulated that the 'hidden' costs of migrating to open source and the associated expenditure of retraining staff made them reluctant to adopt the approach.
