got rid of the breadboard

Posted by gren

So I finally got fed up with the switcher part of the device sprawling across my bench in prototype form, although the wife was happy to use it that way (I had concerns over the saftey of the thing as well).

So I have packaged the whole lot up into a box (well an ex-sandwich transparent tupperware actually - hey its me remember) which is self-contained and fits into the wall socket for the dryer to plug into.

The usr controls on the front are an LED to show the state the device is in and the reset mains puch-button. Its simple but it works just fine.

I'll get a piccy up when I can - but I guess that you can imagine what it looks like. Needless to say I WON'T be carrying the thing around in my backpack on the London metro.
