Knowledge can't be divided, only multiplied

Woow, after two years of being suspended and ignored, I got a "BILLING NOTIFICATION" email from Experts-Exchange stating:

Great to know that they are able to send a notification 2 weeks after the due date.
Great to know that I'm not discriminated as I'm suspended.
Great to know that they still want $$ to receive for a free expert subscription.

Curious what the next stage will be, as they don't have my credit card information, will they send a bailiff ?

Experts-Exchange is one of the few sites with their own Wikipedia article.
To make the article complete I added a link to this blog, but it was removed.
Thinking I made an error I added the link again and it was removed again.

So time to ask Huji (the author) for an explanation. He argues that a link added should be added by an "independent" source, as adding the link as blog author isn't "credible", and asking anotherone to do it for me isn't regarded "credible" either.

Now I'm following his advise to wait for a credible person that's willing to make the article complete and who's willing to add a line in the "Controversie" section, as it's my opinion that everyone should be aware of the dangers of joining this site.

Question today: Data in immediate window truncating

What to avise when questioner finds that the debug window is limited to 200 lines max...

Ask the Experts-Exchange #1 expert of MS Access DATABASES and the answer is:
Write the output to a TEXT file.

The first suggestion by another expert to write it to a table is ignored....

Guess this #1 expert needs a lesson in database basics.
Probably it's a revelation to him that a table can be filtered and processed much easier as a text file, but I guess my readers do realize this...

Question today:
How do I hide the Search box/filter indicator in the Record Navigator in 2007

This blog is not about the content of this question (as it's not really answered), but about abnormal behavior of the #1 Access expert of Experts Exchange in this case.

A questioner asks:
How do I hide the "Search" box and the Filter indicator next to the Record Navigation buttons on a form?

The first comment provided by the #1 Access expert:
"in the design view of the form, hit F4, select the Format tab"
"set the Navigation Buttons property to NO"

Response from the questioner:
"capricorn1 -- But that also gets rid of the Navigation Buttons, which I need! I just"
"want to get rid of the filter indicator and the search box."

Response from the #1 Access expert:
"you may have to create your own navigation button..."
and additionally a link to a piece of code for Access 97 to do this

Being not content with the provided solutions the questioner requests the question to be deleted, but....
Surprise surprise, there's an objection by the #1 expert as he'll not get his points... The reason is that his comments (including the one obviously rejected by the questioner, but who cares) would have solved the problem.

A true eye opener how questioners are bullied in accepting solutions they don't want.
Instead of helping the questioner till he's satisfied here the questioner is forced to accept an answer he doesn't want..

Guess Experts Exchange will have made a big impression on this paying customer, because of a point hunting #1 Access expert...

Great show capricorn1, proves my statement that there are still "experts" at Experts Exchange not interest in helping, but only in collecting points.
Another case added to the file of negative side effects of the Experts Exchange copyrighted point system.

The question today:
Access: Can't Add Records to Query Based on Multiple Tables

No solution is offered by capricorn1 the #1 MS Access expert, but only a Google link to Microsoft showing when it's possible and when not.

For this question a simple explanation of the Main form with linked sub form construction would have solved the problem, but that's not mentioned. Makes me wonder or this "expert" even realizes the basics of the Access architecture.

For smarter people there are sites like bytes.com where the membership is for free and the experts are cooperating to provide the best answers.
