Will Internet TV be in all of our living rooms?

Recently I was speaking to a sales guy who wanted to offer his video services. He casually told me that he beleived, that in the next 10 years we would all be watching internet TV as it is increasingly becomming popular. He even made a joke about not to bother to buy a plasma TV since internet TV will take over?

The next day I was really surprised when I came across an article in the New Age Media magazine, which confirmed that internet TV is fast becomming very popular.

Do you really beleive that one day we will be watching streaming internet tv on our big 42" screens in our living rooms?

Here is an extract from the article I read: "Audiences for internet TV are a tiny fraction of those tuning in to broadcast TV, but the numbers are increasing. According to figures from Continental Research, the number of UK users watching downloaded or streamed TV programming leaped from 3m to 4.3m this year. A further 2.4m are predicted to stream content for the first time next year."

Maybe this is the next craze? What do you think?
