Irrelevant pointless mutterings from modafo....
target="blank" = bad, very bad. Please do not use this.
Irrelevant blurb, not necessarily tech related... I mean, it's not as if i live and breath technology day in day out, 24 7.... I am, after all, just the bottom clog in the corporate mega wheel.
In fact, i doubt this so-called blog will even be:
1. interesting
2. funny and
3. frequently updated.
But thanks for reading nonetheless!

Flash [not in the pan] Video on the web
I was just reading an article on Flash Video from the super Digital Web website, perhaps mainly due to the recent coverage and popularity of online videos, and it got me thinking about the time i used and displayed video on websites by embedding it in Flash too (this was a while back obviously, when i got quite fluent in ActionScripting - now i probably can't even tween an object using the basic timeline).
Anyway, at the time, online video clips were in their own various formats so you had to have all the media players installed on your machine in order to view them, and this got pretty frustrating. Flash was already widely used (but not for displaying video) and it occured to me that using Flash to display video was the way to go.
It would have been interesting if i had stuck with Flash and ActionScripting - instead of following the XHTML/CSS/Web Standards route. I mean, my career path would have went off a completely different route and i probably wouldn't be here typing out this blog entry.
Hmmmm, makes you wonder.....
