Sharp’s HN-VA40S and HN-VA10S HomePlug - HD Through Your Electrical Sockets
Sharp has released details of two new Power Line Communication devices the HN-VA40s and HN-VA10s, which will allow people to easily build home networks by using household electrical sockets for transmitting data.
These Sharp PLC adapters are based on the HomePlug AV1.1 international standard for high speed transmission over electrical wiring.
By connecting devices to a Sharp PLC adapter and then plugging it into a socket, users can easily set up high-speed, reliable home networks.

Sony Vaio RM1N HD Editing Station
Sony has released details of its new VAIO RM1N HD, editing station.
The new system is aimed at HD content editors and features two units. One of the units houses the main system, the other is for optical drives, which is fitted with a Blu-Ray disc unit.
The main system features a four core Intel core 2 Quad Q6600 processor, a pair of 500GB 7200rpm SATA hard drives configured in a RAID 0 set-up for speed, 2GB of DDR 2 memory and an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS graphics card.
The main unit has room for foure more SATA hard drives, and there are also three open PCI-Express slots capable of taking full-length cards.
The VAIO RM1N will cost for around £2500.

iPhone Gets a Custom YouTube Player
All I seem to be writing about at the moment is either the iPhone or Apple.
More news today from Apple, the iPhone will have its own custom integrated You-Tube player.
The new Integrated player can be launched right from your home screen within the iPhone, and you will be able to access You-Tube videos on the go.
It will also feature an integrated link feature for email, with one click on the iPhone you will be able to create a custom email which will include a link to the video of your choice, and send it direct to your friends via the iPhone.

YouTube Goes International
You-Tube the popular online video sharing site owned by Google, is launching nine new international versions of its web video service.
The new sites will be specifically targeted at individual countries including, the UK, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Ireland and France.
Each of the country specific sites is translated into local languages and has country-specific video rankings and comments.
You-Tube have also released details of new content partnerships with the like of Athena 3 in Spain, France 24, and a number of deals with European football clubs including Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
