Apple reveals iPhone details
Apple has revealed further details of the iPhone at its press conference this morning. The carrier will, as expected, be O2, even if it will prove expensive for O2, with up to 40percent of revenue apparently going to Apple.
What else do we know? The launch date, November 9. That's a Friday, a well in time for the Xmas shopping season.
Who will sell it? Apple, O2, Carphone Warehouse, both on the High Street and online.
How much will it cost? A pricey £269, a smidge higher than its US price. Contracts are for 18 months only and will cost between £35 and £55 per month.
More coming in a news story later.
