Skype what a total waste of time and money.

This is a total and utter disgrace for a company who is earning millions of pounds a year and does not seem to care one cent about it's customers.

CEO of Skype blows his trumpet when there is not reason.

Well I see that the CEO of Skype Josh Silverman is blowing his trumpet yet again why because it is Skype's 5th birthday. So what, that is nothing to get excited about, yes I will grant that the have done well with their product development but that is the ONLY place there has been any change and these changes are not worthy of trumpet blowing Josh.

The time to start blowing your trumpet is when Skype have a proper working Billing & Payment system instead of something that was borne in the 18th Century and is still used today by Skype. You only have to look at the Billing & Payment section of the Skype Forum to see this fact which is a total disgrace. May be one day they will get it sorted but until they do I for one will NEVER purchase any Skype service where I have to pay them money because there is no guarantee that when you have paid your money you will have a fully working product/service,

Next of course is the Customer service which is a total disgrace, if I was CEO of a company that makes over $500 million each year I would be totally embarrassed to come to work each day but it seem that Josh is not or he knows all about the problems but could not care less about fixing them, which is more likely the case, may be it's the old adage you pay peanuts and you get monkeys working for you.

I am more and more convinced that the Skype executives do not read the forum thinking it is to demeaning for them, well I would suggest you lower your selves down to our level and try reading the forum particularly the Billing & Payment section and the Customer support section for all platform which come under the general heading Communications you will be surprised how many dissatisfied people you will find NOT getting any help from CS or when they do the answers they get in response to their problem is totally unrelated.
