Vista downgrade product prompts lots of U Turns!!
Now that NEC has officially launched a product to let network administrators downgrade machines running Windows Vista to XP, others have followed suit and jumped on the bandwagon of change.
Sir Clive Sinclair has brought out a cassette that lets you convert your ZX Spectrum into a ZX81 and Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are to be replaced with Sony's Betamax 1/2 inch (12.7 millimeter) home videocassette tape recording format.
The Bank of England also plan to bring back 'old money' so that elderly people are no longer confused by small shiny coins. From 1st April, there will be 20 shillings in £1, 12 pennies in 1 shilling and 240 pennies in £1.
However, claims that the Government are to build a new generation of nuclear power stations are thought to be a hoax ....

Internet Logs
My eyes are blurred having compiled and trawled through a few months of Internet logs looking for evidence of non-comlpiance with the Company's AUP for particular members of staff.
Happily everybody checked was complying with the Policy but now my contact lenses have dried out and are clinging to my eyeballs like a limpits to rocks when the tide is out. Not recommended!
[Recent HSE sponsored research (by Professor Cox et al, University of Nottingham), recommended amongst other things, that periods of work between breaks should be at least 50 minutes but not greater than 120 minutes, and that breaks should be between 12 and 15 minutes in duration. Have you tried that one? If looks could kill I would have died on my first attempt!
I could always wear my glasses I suppose ... and become a sterotype!
I think I will just get a sink plunger to them when I get home, its easier.

Tesco & a Snow Filled Sky
Well, the sky looks like its about to snow and I have to go to Tesco to buy something or other at lunch time. I can't remember for the life of me what I need so I am hoping that being there will help me remember!
Its still half term here and the little bustards are under foot in town.
They should ban kids from town at lunch time ... and old people!
Now don't get me started on old people! Why the hell do they have to come in at lunch times and stand in queues dithering and holding us all up when we need to get back to work to finish and important report. Grrrrr .... they never have their purses ready and i ALWAYS join the wrong queue ....
Ok, enough said, time for Tesco to buy ............ ummmm
