Professional Biography
Mike Westwood has worked as a facilitator for twenty years helping organisations with project set up, requirements definition, project reviews, strategy, business planning, balanced score card, customer focus and consultant training. His focus is live issues and commitment to action.
He has worked throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Far East and New Zealand. His sector experience includes industry, the commercial world, central and local government, academic institutions, the voluntary sector and the arts. This means he has seen plenty of examples of what works and what does not.
Mike is a pioneer in group facilitation. He has developed numerous structures and techniques for effective collaborative work. Mike is an innovative and challenging thinker on individual and team development, and organisational culture.
He recently led the Transformation project for the Cabinet Office and his other clients include Symbian, Citrix, 3i, Royal Sun Alliance, Salford City Council, Tesco, Truphone, Lincolnshire County Council, IBM, Hyder and Rolls Royce.
Mike used to climb solo and play hockey. He is now chair of a professional dance company for the learning disabled.
