Professional Biography
An IT journalist for 20 years, I worked for Ziff-Davis UK for almost half that time on PC Magazine, where I was editor-in-chief.
I worked for four years on Techworld, where I was responsible for content relating to operating systems & servers -- and now I'm blogging for ZDNet UK on datacentre and similar issues.
I also work with Pelican Bridge and number of other outlets, and provide research and analysis services, video and audio production, white papers, you name it.
My personal blog Big Tin is here, and includes some - but not all - of the items posted here.
