Professional Biography
I was programming in Fortran before the Internet or C existed and I hated it. (Try programming with 80 column IBM punch cards!) I have been designing Windows NT 4.0 and XP Embedded data acquisition and display systems for use on the drilling rig floor nearly 15 years in the Texas oil and gas industry. My interest in Linux servers and workstations crystallized after I beta-tested Vista and Windows Home Server!
