BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1979
Programmed small utilities in order of amount of coding: BASIC, dBase, FORTRAN, Forth, Pascal, C and others.
Novell 3.x system administrator for 2 years.
Have used DOS from CP/M-80 2.2 to MS-DOS 2.11 through Novell DOS 7, various Windows versions from 3.0 through Vista.
Present (home) base system is Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron) with VMware Server and VirtualBox installed, virtual versions of Windows 2000 and XP, with various workstation flavors of Linux.
Presently employed in a non-technical position for the last 12 years. Computers are only a hobby, now.
