Professional Biography
Alan Freeland has a great job with IBM UK leading a team of Infrastructure Architects and Specialists helping IBM's customers choose and use the most appropriate servers and storage.
In previous roles Alan has led the resolution of critical system outages, run support teams , managed integration and validation test teams and been a s/w development manager.
Alan also sits on the BCS Ethics strategic panel and has produced internal IBM documents on Technical Leadership, presented at UNICE conference on trends in computing and been a chairperson on a European consortium to attract students to the IT Profession.
